Rules, Regulations, Age Classifications and Class Definitions For information call:• Tabitha Gibson 636-209-6034 Points are awarded to Horse/ Rider Combination. We reserve the right to hire and use a qualified veterinarian and/or farrier to check unsoundness. Rules and Regulations- 1. No Cross Entering will be allowed for Class 7; horse/rider combination may not enter any class requiring a trot 2. For classes 22 and 23, no horse over the age of 6 shall enter. 3. If a handler is used to assist, lead, or aid in any speed event, the rider will be ineligible for placing. Handlers must not pick up or hand rider the flag in flag race. 4. Horse/ Rider must be registered 2 classes prior. 5. Proper attire required for all classes. No shorts or tennis shoes will be permitted. 6. Helmets encouraged, but not required 7. No entering the ring at a run for any class. 8. All tack changes must be requested two classes prior to the class, 3 minutes are allowed and the class gates will be closed and no additional entries will be allowed. 9. No riding or handling stallions by exhibitors under 18 years of age. 10. Judges decisions are final. 11. High point winner must show 2 out of 3 shows to be eligible. 12. Must be ready at gate when class is called. 13. Disqualification: hitting in front of the saddle, abusive behavior in or out of the saddle. 14. 5 second penalty for each barrel downed, 3 second penalty for each pole downed. 15. All dogs must be on a leash at all times. 16. No alcoholic beverages on show grounds. |
