| The western
horse shows are organized very differently this
year. All the stock breeds will show in cattle
classes at the same event on Friday, July 18.
Classes will be divided by breed within the show.
On Saturday
July 19, the
AQHA and ApHC classes are alternated within the same
show, competing in
the Mathewson Exhibition Center with a schedule of
classes from halter, to in-hand, to reining, and
following those, moving to the Dodge Arena for games
classes. Simultaneously, Paint classes will be held
in the Coliseum. On
Sunday the AQHA/ApHC, will again share the
Mathewson, with over-fences, and English and
Western riding classes.
The Paints will continue in
the Coliseum. About the only unchanged aspect of the
State Fair Shows is the Show-Me All Breed Showdown. |
