For over
50 years the Missouri Quarter Horse Association has
nurtured the development and expansion of this versatile
breed through a variety of shows, futurities, youth
events, stallion service auctions, etc. MQHA members
initiate and participate in charitable and philanthropic
events, so that persons are not denied access to equine
activities by reason of financial limitation or physical
limitation. The members are dedicated to promoting and
supporting the entire equine industry in the state of
Missouri, as well as broadening public awareness of the
inherent value of the American Quarter Horse.
A number of shows are presented around the state
each year and members can earn show points in
both the MQHA and AQHA scoring systems.
