Golden Circle Horse Show Circuit is a non profit
organization that promotes most breeds of
horses. We have classes for Quarter Horses,
Paint Horses, Appaloosa Horses and Saddle Bred
Horses. Our classes include Halter, Showmanship,
Leadline, English, Western Pleasure, speed
events and the occasional reining class.
We have over 100 members in our organization and
we are growing every year.
Our shows are held in multiple arenas around the
Kansas City Area. A halter/pleasure futurity is
presented each year.
The American Paint Horse Association has
approved GCHSC for the Paint Alternative
Competition Program (PAC). This allows PAC
members to receive APHA national credits from
GCHSC shows.
To
encourage good sportsmanship and proper
conduct among horsemen and fostering of good
fellowship of all persons interested in
saddle horses.
To promote the education of all individuals
in member clubs in the care, use, handling
and development of horses and horsemanship.
To create, stimulate and maintain interest
in saddle horses and horseback riding in
communities, and to aid and encourage the
development of local saddle clubs.
To encourage proper and humane handling and
care of horses, to prevent cruelty to
animals.
